The Chairman House Committee on Lands, Survey and Urban Renewal and Member Representing Aba North state constituency in Abia state House of Assembly, Uzodike Aaron says Aba residents must stir effort to maintain in their own ways the multiple road projects commissioned last week by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
Aaron said they could do this by ensuring they eschew the habit of dumping refuse inappropriately especially into the new drainages, adding that this would help to forestall the dangers of floods during the rainy season.
The lawmaker who was reacting to the Kinetic Road project commissioning by the Abia state government in an interview with newsmen, disclosed that to complement the government’s effort, he has embarked on the grading of rural roads in his constituency.
