Governor Okezie Ikpeazu inaugurates members of the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board


Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has inaugurated the Chairmen and members of the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Abia State University Teaching Hospital Board, Health Management Board and the Abia State collage of Health Sciences and Management technology.

Speaking while inaugurating Members of the Board yesterday at the Michael Okpara Auditorium Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu charged them to discharge their duties effectively and contribute their quota to the success of his administration.

The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, congratulated them for achieving the milestone and urged them not to betray the trust and confidence placed on them.

In an acceptance speech on behalf of all the board members, Chairman of the newly inaugurated Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Board, Mr Linus Ogbuokiri thanked Governor Ikpeazu for finding them worthy to serve in those capacities and promised they would carry out their duties with all honesty and diligence. 

Secretary to the State government, Mr Chris Ezem, the Chief of staff to the governor, Dr. ACB Agbazuere and other top government officials were present at the event.
