Students of Ebonyi State University on Thursday blocked the Enugu-Abakaliki expressway in protest over poor infrastructure in the institution.
The protest follows an earlier outcry on social media by students of the institution who shared videos and claimed that at least two students had died due to suffocation while writing General Studies Program (GST) Exams.
According to the protesting students, the University had adopted the Computer Based Test (CBT) for some General Studies Program (GST) courses.
A representative of the school management and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics, Professor Happiness Oselebe promised to put on hold the Computer-Based Test and address other grievances by the student.
