Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu swears in new Secretary to the State Government


Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has charged the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chris Ezem to use his wealth of experience as a seasoned administrator to drive home his vision of developing Abia State for the benefit of future generation.

Ikpeazu who gave the charge during a grand reception organized by the people of Amaigbo, Ubakala Community, Umuahia South LGA, for Ezem on his appointment as the Secretary to the state government, pointed out that his stint as former Chairman, Governing Board of College of Health Technology Aba and Immediate past TC Chairman of Umuahia South left indelible and positive impacts.

The Governor represented by his deputy, Ude Oko Chukwu described the day as a remarkable one and appreciated the people of Umuahia south LGA for working towards the re-election of the present administration.

The SSG, Ezem who described the reception as a thanksgiving for answered prayers, appreciated Governor Ikpeazu for finding him fit to serve in the exalted position and pledged to contribute his quota to drive home the Governor’s vision.
