Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu charge Christians to be good ambassadors of Christ


Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has admonished Christians in the state not to relent in carrying out God’s instructions.

Governor Ikpeazu who was speaking at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church Itungwa, on the occasion of their ordination of priests and making of Deacons by the Anglican Bishop of Aba, Rev Christian Ugwuzor, congratulated the newly ordained priest and deacons of the church and charged them to be good ambassadors of Christ.

The Governor who commended members of the Diocese for their commitment and support during his re-election, made cash donations while he promised to plaster the church building.

Speaking on the topic, “I HAVE MADE YOU A WATCHMAN” Nzechinyere Israel, charged the Clergymen to be Watchmen over the people they lead and be responsible in the discharge of their duties.

Israel who cited the exemplary life of Ezekiel in the Bible which he took from the book of Ezekiel Chapter 1 and 3, maintained that dedication, integrity, commitment and selflessness remain the hallmark of every successful leader.

He used the occasion to call on the state Governor to look into critical infrastructures in the state particularly in Aba.
