Traders of Ekeoha Shopping Center calls for help

By magic

February 01, 2021

Traders under the umbrella of Concerned Traders of Ekeoha Shopping Center, Aba Abia State have appealed to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the state House of Assembly to come to their aid.

The traders said their cry have become necessary to prevent unnecessary death in the market.

In a statement jointly signed by Nwodo Emmanuel, Humphery Okafor, Wisdom Ugwuanyi, among others, the traders alleged that one Titus Udoye and his cohorts have embarked on an illegal construction of a two storey building on a building that has the foundation of a bungalow.

The concerned traders said that some parts of the building have been collapsing, and almost got some people killed.

In a statement, the trader also alleged that Udoye has been harassing them with the Police, and his actions in Ekeoha Shopping Center have impeded ventilation and illumination in the market.

They compared allowing such a structure to exist in the market, to a time bomb which will not spare anyone in the market.

Meanwhile, Magic FM’s attempt to reach Mr. Titus proved abortive.
