
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has begun talks and engagements with international partners and friendly nations seeking ways to boost Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
Prof. Osinbajo made this known during a bilateral meeting with a delegation from the Japanese trade organisation in Davos, venue of the World Economic Forum.
He said that the manufacturing sector is one that two countries can build profitable relations to mutually strengthen economies.
He noted that deepen ties will increase the chances of investors in the sector.
According to him, Nigeria will join the global manufacturing chain that will be private sector driven.
The officials will be required to disclose details on their real estate, other property valued above $100,000, and shareholdings in businesses by February 28.
