The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo says Nigeria must leverage on technology to advance its developmental journey.
He made the call while representing, President Mohammadu Buhari at the graduation ceremony of the senior executive course forty-one 2019 of the National Institute of Policy And Strategic Studies, NIPSS, in plateau state.
He commended members of the class for their recommendation on funding universal health care delivery in Nigeria and he also explained that the Buhari administration is committed to the digital registration of all citizens to ensure financial inclusion, delivery of social programmes to remote part of the country and creation of more effective e-commerce opportunities.
According to the Director-General of the Institute, Prof. Habu Galadima, the aim of the course is to improve the overall performance of the participants in their different callings.
A participant, Elizabeth Agu, expressed confidence the course would go a long way at enhancing healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
