President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday in Abuja swore in the chairman and 11 members of the National Assembly Commission in the State House.
The swearing-in took place in the council chambers of the Presidential Villa before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Those sworn in were Ahmed Amshi (chairman, Borno, North-east), Baba Modu (Borno, North-east); Abubakar Umar Tutare (Taraba, North-east); Hakeem Akamo (Lagos, South-west); Motunrayo Akintomide (Ondo, South-west) and Francis Atanomeyovwi (Delta, South-south).
Others are Bassey Etuk (Akwa Ibom, South-south); Yusuf Byliaminu (Zamfara, North-west); Sani Kazaure (Jigawa, North-west); Julius Ucha (Ebonyi, South-east); Auwalu Ohindase (Kogi, North-central) and Mu’azu Is’haq (Nasarawa, North-central).
The Chairman of the commission Ahmed Amshi assured thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for finding them worthy.
