President Muhammadu Buhari has denied stopping the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission or any other anti-graft agency from trying a former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Buhari told newsmen on tuesday that he did not stop the anti-graft agencies from going after politicians who joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, from other political parties.
Buhari also said it was unfair that he was being seen in some quarters as protecting some alleged corrupt individuals merely because they are members of his political party.
