former Vice President and presidential aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has received the Certificate of Return as the flagbearer of the party in the 2023 presidential election.
Atiku received the certificate at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday in the presence of members of the National Working Committee.
The PUNCH reports that the former governor of Adamawa State secured the PDP presidential ticket at a special national convention held in Abuja on May 28 and 29, 2022.
He got 371 votes to secure victory after contesting against Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and nine others.
