The positions of Nigeria’s service chiefs “will soon be vacant”, elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, has said.
Pa Clark, the Ijaw National Leader, stated this while commenting on the position of President of the Court of Appeal, which will soon be vacant when the incumbent, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, retires on March 4.
Chief Clark, represented by a former Nigerian ambassador to the Scandinavian countries, Amb. GodKnows Igali, spoke in Abuja at a book launch, advising President Muhammadu Buhari not to delay the sack of the service chiefs, whom many Nigerians say have overstayed their usefulness.
The elder statesman, while hailing the Senate for considering to review Nigeria’s constitution, charged them to look at religion critically.
