Nigerian Airforce Bombards meeting of Boko Haram, ISWAP leaders


Nigerian Air Force jets have bombarded Boko Haram and Islamic State West African Province members (ISWAP) at the Lake Chad axis.

The coordinated airstrikes destroyed strongholds of the sects’ commanders and their guards.

Intelligence exposed areas targeted including camps in Sabon Tumbu, Jibularam and Kwalaram.

An officer told newmen that the spiritual base and training camps around the fringes of Lake Chad were destroyed.

Their leaders, including Ali Chakkar and other top ISWAP commanders, were holding a meeting when the attacks were launched.
