The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), has directed that no match be played without proper certification of medical equipment and personnel in all football facilities across the federation. NFF in conjunction with the Ministry of Sports during an engagement with League Management Company, (LMC) to review the circumstances that led to the death of Nasarawa United player, Chieme Martins on Sunday. They also directed that all Match Commissioners and the state Football Associations are to ensure they inspect all the facilities including carrying out test runs before giving go-ahead for any match to be played. Recall that Martins slumped after colliding with a player of Katsina United football club, a development that led his untimely death.
