The Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa, says he met personnel morale at its lowest ebb as he assumed leadership.
Marwa said this in Abuja while inaugurating a seven-member Harmonization Committee to address all issues hampering the smooth running of the Agency.
He said he had commenced the reengineering of the Agency for optimal performance.
Marwa, who assumed office about three weeks ago said inaugurating the committee was in keeping with the Federal Government Circulars and the present reality in the Agency.
The Committee has two terms of reference which include receiving memoranda from aggrieved staff members and analyzing them in line with set criteria taking into account service progression and vacancies.
