Speaking at the event, the firm’s Head of Corporate Communications, Omobolale Odiase, said over 500 professional sales personalities registered online for the race across the state.
“The exercise is to gather together and sensitise professionals sales persons from over 300 firms, who are their organisations’ engine room to be fit for works. This is 2022 and it is a promising year. But if one is not fit physically, mentally and emotionally as a sales person, one won’t be able to achieve the set target.
“This is the first edition of this exercise, which will be preceded by the training on how the sales persons can achieve their set targets for the year. We have master sales persons with over two decades experience, who will facilitate the event. And we only hope that the next edition will be better,” she said.
One of the facilitators, Sankey Praise, said: “Why we chose the race is so that every participant will see keeping fit as part of the thing they must engage in so that they can to the field to market or sell your products to their companies clients.”
Host of the event and Chairman of Victor Unlimited International, Mr. Victor Kalu, said the event is a movement emphasising on the wellness of the sales persons in order to be effective on their jobs.
“Most times we hear about people having health challenges and the rest. This event is part of sensitisation for the professionals sales persons to play a major role in keeping fit and determining sales for their organisations,” he stated.
