Colombian international James Rodriguez has joined Bayern Munich on a two-year loan from Real Madrid, the Bundesliga club announced Wednesday.
The two clubs have agreed on a two-year deal until June 30, 2019, with the option for Bayern to buy the 25-year-old midfielder who was the top scorer at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with six goals.
Meanwhile, Spanish striker Alvaro Morata is now the focus of frustrated Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s attentions after Romelu Lukaku slipped through his fingers and signed for Manchester United.
Chelsea have tabled a 62 million pounds bid for the 24-year-old Morata but Real Madrid are holding out for around £80m, the reports say.
Chelsea have offered Morata wages of 150,000 pounds a week on a five year contract.
