Ifeanyi Umere, the Senior Special Adviser to the Abia Governor on Social Orientation, and a stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has described the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the just-concluded 2019 elections, Alex Otti, as a serial failure.
This came following the petition filed at the election tribunal by Otti, challenging the declaration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as winner of March 9 gubernatorial poll in the state.
The APGA candidate is also asking the tribunal to cancel the results of 15 local government areas in Abia, which he (Otti) claimed, was marred by over voting, and order for a rerun.
But, Umere, in an interview with reporters on Sunday, said Otti’s petition is selfishly and outrageous and also exposes him to be man that lacks honour and integrity.
