I Know Leadership Isn’t Easy, I Can’t Talk About Ikpeazu In Media — Sen. Kalu

Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has again said he is not prepared to talk about the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu in the media space. While noting that leadership is not an easy task, the Senate Chief Whip said he would rather meet the governor in person to have an interaction with him. Sen. Kalu who spoke with ABN TV on Thursday as part of activities marking his 62nd birthday anniversary reiterated that he will continue to hold Gov. Ikpeazu in high esteem as the leader of the state. He also expressed gratitude to the people of Abia North for their prayers and support.

He also thanked those who have given him various gifts to mark his birthday, saying some of the items will be sent to orphanage homes as has been the ritual, since he alone cannot consume all of it. The former Governor noted that the decision to celebrate his birthday in Igbere his country home is intentional as a way to mingle with his people.
