The Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP, in Abia State, Dame Blessing Nwagba says she is more capable than other governorship candidates in the state.
Nwagba who was reacting to what her party called anti party activity and unilateral decision by the local government chairmen of the party contrary to the party’s position at the national and state level, reiterated that she is in the race and running to win.
In a communiqué after an expanded meeting of the State Working Committee of the SDP, the party confirmed that the chairmen were making frivolous financial demands from the governorship candidate and may have found who satisfied their quest for money.
Reading out the eleven point communiqué at the party Secretariat, the state Chairman of SDP, Chidi Nwosu informed that the Local Government Chairmen of the party have been suspended.
