The member who represents Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Chimaobi Ebisike has reaffirmed his commitment to ensure that every child in Aba acquires quality education. Ebisike stated this during the inauguration of the two-classroom block he built for the Uratta Community in Aba North LGA.
The federal lawmaker, ably represented by a former Transition Chairman of Aba North LGA who doubles as the Chairman of the Aba North Stakeholders Forum, Mr Stanley Ogbonna, while addressing the audience, said Ebisike had brought back power and governance to the good people of Aba.
Also speaking at the occasion, a former Abia Commissioner for Petroleum, Barrister Chizuru Kanu, recalled when the groundbreaking for the completed work was performed few weeks back.
The special guest of the day, who is a younger brother to the late Prestige Ossy, the immediate predecessor of Ebisike, Okey Ehiriedo Prestige, said he deemed it Honourable to identify with an achiever like Ebisike. And while performing the inauguration proper, he said he was happy Ebisike did not disappoint in taking after the good work of his late brother.
The head teacher of the school, Mrs Margaret Okeiyi, while speaking with newsmen, appreciated Ebisike for his good gesture.
Other notable guests present were the traditional ruler of Uratta Amaise Community, Eze Ikechukwu Amaraha; the Chairman of the Ebisike Advisory Council, Engineer Offia Ndukwe; Uratta Community leaders, PDP stakeholders, among others.
