The federal government on Monday took another step towards realizing its economic diversification agenda by inaugurating the Ajaokuta Presidential Project Implementation Team.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Abuja, Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Boss Mustapha, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Team, said government intended to create opportunities for the development of national capacity for real industrialization.
The SGF, according to a statement issued by the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, said the need to set balls rolling for the development of various sectors of the economy became more pressing as a result of the unpleasant realities currently bugging the global oil market.
