The Federal High Court 1, sitting in Umuahia, Abia State, yesterday dismissed a suit brought by one Isaac Alozie against the Code of Conduct Bureau, the Abia State Director of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Chief Ginger Onwusibe, Chief Johnson Onuigbo, PDP Chairman, Abia State, and the Peoples Democratic Party.
Hon. Justice E. N. Anyadike while delivering judgment, held that the action was frivolous, incompetent and totally lacking in merit and therefore dismissed it.
Recall that on the 10th of January, 2019, the same Court struck out another suit, also brought by Isaac Alozie against Chief Ginger Onwusibe, Chief Johnson Onuigbo and the Code of Conduct Bureau.
When contacted, Chief Onwusibe who is the PDP House of Assembly candidate for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the forthcoming election, thanked God for the victories; adding that they were a sign of things to come.
Onwusibe revealed that he won his primaries clearly with over 85% of the votes cast, but some highly placed PDP members and top government appointees from Isiala Ngwa North, had spent a fortune in order to sabotage him via frivolous court actions up to Abuja.
He further revealed that there were over ten petitions against him which were found to be frivolous and thanked his Legal Team, while promising Isiala Ngwa-North people quality representation if elected in the pending election.
