Inspite of reports that University lecturers are refusing to be enrolled on the IPPIS salary scheme, the federal government says they are being registered.
Minister of Finance Budget and national planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed told newsmen that when the period for the enrolment of the scheme expires the government will stop paying salaries of those not captured in the program.
Mrs. Ahmed said the registration period was extended because the exercise is still going on.
