Enyimba Football Club player, Ifeanyi Anaemena has disclosed that his main target this season is to lift the CAF Confederation Cup trophy with the People’s Elephant and seek greener pastures when the chance comes knocking.
Enyimba qualified to the group stage of CAF’s second tier football competition, CAF Confederations Cup after they edged out TS Galaxy of South Africa 4-1 on aggregate last weekend.
Anaemena who is a key member of the Enyimba team said this while speaking with Magic FM yesterday.
Speaking on his national team debut against Togo in Lagos, where the Super Eagles beat the Hawks of Togo 2-0, the defender said it was his dream to continue to put on the colours of Nigeria. He also called on the handlers of the Super Eagles to pay more attention on players who ply their trade on the home front.
