With many countries across the globe angling for ways to tackle unemployment, it is expedient for stakeholders in the Nigeria Education Sector to forge a Tertiary Education Curricula that has strong entrepreneurial favor because it has a direct link with economic development.
This was the common trend in speeches delivered by Education Stakeholders during the Matriculation Ceremony of TempleGate Polytechnic held at the school pavilion in Abayi Aba, Abia state.
The stakeholders who includes the Abia state Commissioner for Education, Ikechi Mgboji, The Director of Polytechnic programmes in the National Board for Technical Education NBTE, Musa Isgogo and The Chairman Board of Trusties of African Institute of Science and Technology, Gerald Onuoha, advised the matriculating students to maximize the opportunity of their admission to acquire entrepreneurial skills and create jobs instead of seek for one.
