D’Tigers commence preparation for the 2020 Olympic Games


Head Coach of D’Tigers, Mike Brown has officially commenced preparation for the 2020 Olympic Games with the invitation of 49 players to the national team camp in California, USA.

The team is headlined by NBA stars Monte Morris (Denver Nuggets), Miye Oni (Utah Jazz), OG Anunoby (Toronto Raptors), Kz Okpala (Miami Heat), Festus Ezeli, Precious Achiuwa (Miami Heat), Udoka Azubuike (Utah Jazz), Jahlil Okafor (Detroit Pistons) who are all in line to make their international debuts for Nigeria.

Nigeria is in group B alongside Australia and winners of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Serbia and Croatia which will take place between June 29 and July 4, 2021.

The Olympics begin on July 23, 2021 and will run through August 8, 2021.
