British boxer Tyson Fury still ready to fight Deontay Wilder for the third time

British boxer Tyson Fury has admitted that a third and final fight with Deontay Wilder is on the cards after beating the American to claim the WBC title in emphatic fashion.

The 31-year-old put on a boxing master class in Las Vegas to stop Wilder in his tracks, picking up the technical knockout victory in the seventh round after the Bronze Bomber’s corner threw the towel in.

In the aftermath of his impressive display, the Gypsy King claimed that a trilogy with Wilder can happen with the Raiders Stadium in Las Vegas already being touted as a possible venue.

As part of the bi-lateral rematch clause Wilder has the 30-day window to state his intention for a re-match which would take place as a headline event in the summer.

Should Wilder decide to trigger the rematch clause in his contract, it would mean a Battle of Britain clash with Anthony Joshua will be put on the back-burner. Joshua is the bookmakers’ second favorite to fight Fury after Wilder despite the appeal of a unification fight in the heavyweight division later this year.
