The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has returned to Nigeria.
Atiku returned from Dubai in a private jet around 12am on Sunday, after spending over two weeks outside the country.
The former Vice-President’s return came a week before the 2019 election campaign commences next week.
Meanwhile the senator representing Bayelsa East constituency at the National Assembly, Ben Murray-Bruce, has condemned what he alleged as “reckless harassment” of Atiku.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle, the senator tweeted that Nigeria is not a fascist state and advised the government to face Atiku at the polls, not with force.”
The All Progressives Congress had last week called on security agencies to probe the former Vice-President over his trip.
