Matches were played yesterday in the day two of the Nigeria Professional Football League in five different centres across Nigeria.
In Abia State, Abia Warriors lost at home to visiting Go Round FC by one goal to two.
The first goal of the game came in the 37th minute through Sadiq O. for Go Round FC. However Abia Warriors equalized through a penalty by Emeka I. in the 69th minute.
During the extra time precisely in the 92nd minute of the game, Abia Warriors conceded a late goal making it two loses for the Abia based club.
In other centres, Heartland defeated Plateau United by 3 goals to nil, Ifeanyi Ubah won Nassarawa United by a lone goal, MFM FC played 2-0 against Kwara United while Niger Tornadoes played a one – one draw with Rivers United.
