Governor Okezie Ikpeazu says his ambition is to transform the state.
Governor Ikpeazu who was addressing members of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, leadership of Town Unions and Transport Association Ukwa West Chapter at the Regina Caeli Catholic Parish, Obehie Asa in Ukwa West LGA, noted that he has laid a foundation for the largest Leather Factory in West Africa.
The Governor said Abia has become the focal state for Health, Technical education and Industrialization for the South East Zone, pointing that his second tenure in office will bring further development to the state.
He described the Atiku /Obi Project as the answer to the myriads of challenges facing Nigeria as a country and condemned in strong terms a situation where politicians hijack Churches for their selfish interest.
Speaking, the Parish Priest Regina Caeli Catholic Parish Obehie, Rev Fr. Anthony Nwankwo, Comrade Jamike Ebere and Light Enwereuzo, reassured Governor Ikpeazu of their support with his re-election bid and prayed God to sustain him to realize his development template for the state.
