Abia State Government set to fish out perpetrators of attack on a police stations in Aba


The Abia State Government says its attention has been drawn to a mindless and cowardly attack on a police station in Aba by yet to be identified armed hoodlums in the early hours of Monday leading to loss of precious lives and the carting away of arms and ammunition. 

The government in the statement signed and released by the Honorable Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu, assured members of the public that it was working with security agencies in the state to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly crime and bring them to justice as quickly as possible. 

It said no part of Abia land would be ceded to criminals operating under any guise

The state government also called on citizens to avail law enforcement agencies with vital information that would lead to the arrest of the criminals and the recovery of the arms carted away from law enforcement agents, promising N1m for any information leading to the recovery of any of the stolen arms and/or arrest of any suspect.
