Abia State Government has directed all land allottees in Mbaisii Estate to move to the site with a view to identifying their plots in order to commence its development.
The commissioner for Lands, Survey and Urban planning, Barr. Suleiman Ukandu who stated this in a statement signed by his Director of Information and made available to newsmen in Umuahia, revealed that allottees who refuse to move to the Mbaisii Estate, run the risk of having their plots retrieved and given to other applicants who are ready to commence construction without further delay.
Barr. Ukandu who frowned at the situation where government estates lay fallow and abandoned, stressed that the ministry has resolved to develop all abandoned government estates for the benefit of all.
