Residents of Aba will soon heave a sigh of relieve as the state govt has initiated plans to tackle the menace of flood and bad roads in Aba.
The member representing Aba South State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Obinna Ichita drew the attention of the commissioner nominees on the need to work assiduously to ensure that the problem of bad roads and flooding was tackled in Aba.
Hon. Ichita also questioned Hon. Emma Nwambuko who was the Special Adviser to the Governor on project monitoring and implementation on why Faulks road which was recently constructed would be littered with innumerable pot holes.
Reacting, Hon. Nwambuko and Hon. Solomon Ogunji stated that efforts will be made to ensure that contractors deliver according to specification
They also revealed that Obohia and Ngwa roads both in Aba south state constituency will receive full attention of the government.
