Abia State government has alleged manipulation of the National Assembly election by an INEC ad hoc staff in the State.
In a statement, State Information Commissioner, John Okiyi Kalu, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, controlled State accused APC leaders of having manipulated the electoral process.
Kalu said that a large population of Abia North voters, especially at Nkporo in Ohafia Local Government Area, Bende and Arochukwu in Arochukwu Local Government Area were disenfranchised and victory awarded to one of the undeserved contestants.
The statement added that a large population of Abia North voters risk being disenfranchised because the commission was about awarding undeserved victory to one of the contestants in yesterday’s Senatorial election.
