Abia State ADP Governorship candidate, Pastor Okey Udo, calls on rivals to accept the election results

By magic

March 29, 2019

The Governorship candidate of The Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the just concluded governorship election in Abia state, Pastor Okey Udo has called on other Governorship candidates who lost in the election to accept the results for the sake of peace and prosperity in the state.

Pastor Udo who made this known while interacting with our Correspondent, however said his chances of winning the 2019 Governorship election in the state was scuttled because elections in the country were won by highest bidders.

He added that the country has come so low to the level where electorates no longer have values and are paid menial amount of money to sell their votes in exchange for a four years of governance, where men with ideas cannot contribute their knowledge to the development of the society except they are stupendously rich.

He used the opportunity to congratulate the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu on his victory to serve Abians for a second term of four years and advised him to realize that he is the father of Abia State and not for a section or association in the state and therefore should work for the good of the whole state.

Pastor Udo therefore advised all the Governors’ opponents in the election to shield their sword and allow him to complete his eight years in office.
