Abia heritage to be projected through the forthcoming Ozuru Abia Cultural Carnival

The forthcoming Ozuru Abia Cultural Carnival has been described as a platform where the heritage of Abia people will be projected to the world.

Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu who stated this when a special delegation of Ozuru Abia cultural carnival paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Umuahia expressed the willingness of Government to support the committee and the initiator of the pet project Miss Onyekachi Atulomah to enable them realise the project which will bring the state to limelight.

Sir Oko Chukwu stressed the need for youths to be self-reliant by showcasing their God-given talents.

He lauded the ministries of Information and Youth Development for partnering with Ozuru Abia for the success of its festival which he says will bring honour to the state.

Earlier in his speech, the leader of the delegation and permanent secretary ministry of information, Elder Ifeanyi Agbai said that they entered into the collaboration for the success of the Ozuru Abia cultural carnival because of the benefit it will bring to the state.
