Governor Okezie Ikpeazu says the forthcoming Abia Governor’s Cup is geared towards creating an enabling environment for young athletes to discover themselves.
Speaking to newsroom yesterday at the Enyimba International Stadium, the Governor said the idea of the Governor’s Cup is to engage the youths of Abia.
Recall that the Governor had in late October, inaugurated a seven-man committee led by Hon P.C Mba to organize a grassroots football tournament in his honour to help in discovering talents in the state.
