The Immediate past Minister of State for mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah, has urged Abians to vote wisely and protect their votes in 2023 elections to avoid a repeat of the outcome of 2019 gubernatorial Election in the State.
The former Minister gave the admonition while briefing newsmen in Umuahia during a Grand reception for his gubernatorial campaign shortly after arriving the State through the Sam Mbakwe Cargo Airport Imo State where he was received by mammoth crowd of party faithful and supporters
Recall that a Federal High Court in Abuja presided by Justice Binta Nyako had in a judgment on Friday, nullified the candidacy of Ikechi Emenike who was earlier recognized by INEC.
Speaking, Dr. Ogah maintained that the 2019 general election was greatly rigged in favor of the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the state and vowed to take the development of Abia State to a greater height. He affirmed that Abia APC remains united and advised all his opponents to bring their capacities to bear.
Also speaking, Chief Stanley Ohajiruka who was presented by Dr. Ogah as the head of Abia APC campaign organization, said APC in Abia state would be driven by people of the State as they would move to all nukes and crannies in few weeks to take the massage to all and described Ogah as a man with the capacity to lead the State.
On his part, the State publicity secretary, Chief Offor Okorie, said no Force on Earth can stop Uche Ogah from succeeding as he would use his wealth of experience to take the State to the next level.
