By magic

January 30, 2019

Aba, the commercial Nerve centre of Abia State was on lock down on Tuesday following the visit of president Muhammadu Buhari to the city

Security personnel was all over town and several roads linking the president’s route were blocked.

Eventhough the Nigerian Police earlier issued a statement informing people about the lock down, not many residents were aware.

The president’s visit to Aba was to commission the independent power plant at Ariaria market as well as seek the support of Abians for his reelection  bid next month

Our political correspondent Anastasia Uchenna was there and captured the report.
