Aba Chamber of Commerce donates automated Hand washing machine to Nigerian Army

As part of efforts to assist in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 in Abia State, Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA) has donated an automated Hand washing machine to the Nigerian Army 14 Brigade Ohafia.

Speaking while presenting the Machine to the Brigade Commander yesterday at Ohafia, the President ACCIMA, Sir Obeta Lawrence, said the association was touched to donate the machine because of the important role the Army plays especially in securing lives and property and creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.                       

Receiving the machine, the Commander, Nigerian Army 14 Brigade Ohafia, Brigadier General Solomon Kumapayi, expressed appreciation over the gesture, describing it as an encouragement and a step in the right direction.

The commander who assured that the command would continue to make Aba and Abia in general a peaceful and safe haven to do business, he also solicited a continued advocacy and collective effort from members of the association in fighting crime in the state.
