2023: Governorship aspirant, Kalu Idika Okwara, promises better days ahead for Abians

Chief Kalu Idika Okwara, a renowned Administrator and frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Abia State has promised better days for Abians if elected governor of the state in the 2023 gubernatorial election. Idika Okwara made the promise on Wednesday while briefing journalists at the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja.

He described his personality as his selling point, insisting that he is capable of winning the governorship election for the People’s Democratic Party in 2023. He pledged that as an Administrator, he would position that state on the path of greatness. He said he was desirous of curbing unemployment and youth restiveness and, if elected governor, he would establish new industries and rehabilitate ailing ones across the three senatorial districts in the state. Idika Okwara urged journalists to take their onerous task as watchdogs of the society beyond the mundane. He said there was the need to beam the searchlight on any person aspiring to lead the people and that it was not enough to analyse the suitability of political office holders from hearsay devoid of investigative facts.

He appealed to the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State to consider zoning the governorship ticket to Abia North senatorial district for fairness and equity.
